Geetika, the young orator of BVM (USN) proved her mettle through her art of eloquence in the final inter school declamation contest by winning the second prize. To enhance the oratory skills, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir (USN) had earlier conducted a declamation contest at the school level under the guidance of Ved Parchar Mandal. Sixty budding orators from class V – XI participated in its first round with great zeal and zest. Geetika a student of class V bagged first position in it and got selected for the final inter school declamation contest which was held on 30th Jan, 2018 at BCM, Dugri by Ved Parchar Mandal. Beating her senior opponents, this youngest participant with her distinguished efforts made BVM proud as she was adjudged second among top 25 contestants from class V-XI from renowned schools of the city. Expressing her views in Punjabi on the topic ‘The advantages of mobile phone and internet’ she left everyone spell bound. The jury and the organizers were all praise for her. She was honoured with a trophy and a certificate. Congratulating Geetika, the school Principal Mrs. Bandana Sethi also appreciated the earnest efforts of Mrs. Narinder Kaur and Mrs. Satwinder kaur (Teachers), who prepared Geetika and also motivated other students to come forward to participate in these types of personality enhancing contests.
